Mark your calendars, Mustangs! Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30, from six to eight pm we'll all be congregating at Mitchell to meet the teachers, see friends, and munch down on smoothies from Jamba Juice and hot dogs and snacks from Ray's Red Hots. Delicious, healthy smoothies will be $4 and combos of chips, a drink and a regular or specialty hot dog are only $6 so bring your appetite!
Come meet this year's PTO board and learn a bit about all we do to make the Mitchell community safe, fun and inclusive for our amazing families:) Our meeting are the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm in the library, and kiddos are always welcome. The September meeting is 9/19, possible topics for discussion are school expansion plans, the Fun Run, movie nights, book fair and a whole host of other PTO sponsored school activities like field trips. Teachers often give presentations, administrators are always in attendance, and we get to know each other to form a great network of families that help each other with ride and walk shares, playdates, and so much more.
Don't forget, we are ALL PTO!!! Every single parent, guardian, teacher, and administer is already by definition a member of the Mitchell Mustangs PTO. Spend as much or as little time as you'd like on volunteering and fundraising. We are all in this together to make Mitchell the best possible place for the students we love.
