Science Olympiad – Please read this
important announcement
This is just a friendly reminder that all Science Olympiad Registration forms need to be turned in by
December 2nd. With the short school week next week, that leaves only 5 school days to get the forms turned in!
Head Coach still
needed. The Head Coach organizes the
teams, practices, coaches, paperwork etc.
S/He also handle any issues that may come up and answers any questions
from Event Coaches. This is a leadership
and organizational role, no science required.
WESO has scheduled a Head Coach meeting for Dec 10th. If you
are interested in leading our Science Olympiad team, please email stacie@mikancorp.com for more details.
Event Coaches still
needed. Event coaches meet with
students for one hour, once a week for about 15 weeks (end of January to the
first week of May) to practice a specific event. Coaching requires dedication and
patience. SCIENCE BACKGROUND
NOT REQUIRED! The Event Coach sign up is attached to your child’s registration
sheet.
Science Olympiad CAN NOT HAPPEN without coaches. Please consider this important role.
PTO Thrift Car Raffle

The Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop is raffling off a car! Second place $5000! Third place $1000! Tickets are $10 each. For every ticket sold, Mitchell will receive
$5! Draw Date 1/2/16/
You can purchase your tickets from Wanda Perez at the PTO
Welcome Event in the Teacher’s Lounge on December 4th from 3:30 -
4:30. If you can’t make it to school
that day but you’d like to purchase a ticket, please contact the PTO to schedule a time.

TCBY Fundraiser – November 24th –
Come over to TCBY on Washtenaw Ave
on 11/24 to get some yummy yogurt and support Mitchell as well as a great
partner to the Mitchell PTO. TCBY has
donated to several of our events and will give us a portion of the proceeds
from sales on that day. Must have flyer for us to receive credit.
PTO Welcome Event in the Teacher’s
Lounge on Dec 4th from 3:30-4:30pm.
This is a great chance to meet one on
one with some of the PTO Board members to find out what’s going on around
Mitchell and how you can get involved.
Pittsfield Township Polar Express
Kids Night – Dec 18th –
Pittsfield Township Recreation Dept is hosting a night of
cookies, hot chocolate and the classic holiday movie Polar Express! December 18th – 6-8pm. NO PARENTS
REQUIRED! Ages 4-10.
