Join us for Mitchell School's Second Annual International Night

This year we're trying something new! There will be 2 designated workshop times, 6:10-6:35 and 6:40-7:05. This will allow you and your family to have a more in depth experience.

Workshops include:
  • Danish Paper Weaving
  • Storytellers-Instruments & Stories from Around the World
  • Capoeira- Brazilian Martial Arts
  • Origami- Japanese Paper Folding
  • West African Song & Dance
  • Panting an Alebrije from Mexico
  • Middle East Experience- Henna, write your name in Arabic, try on a scarf
  • Polynesian Dancing

Be thinking of which workshops you'd like to try!

Throughout the evening:
  • Coloring Pages from Around the World
  • Take & Bake- Make a traditional corn tortilla 
  • Add your flower to the Community Tree
  • Visit the Gallery of Artifacts
  • Try a Few Bites of Food from Around the World
Performances will begin at 7:15 in the Multi-Purpose Room. Come see our Kindergarteners sing, Mitchell Families perform and a special Parade of Nations for all those in authentic clothing.
