Black Men Read - Kids Club! 
This month’s readers are Anthony Morgan and the Pro Deuces!
Black Men Read (BMR) is a community-based program that was started by three Mitchell moms, Drawing on their professional and lived experiences, these women saw an opportunity for a literacy program that could bring families together to highlight the importance of storytelling in African American communities. A year later we are so excited to share our passion with our friends at Mitchell! We hope all families will attend and celebrate our culture with us!
This event will include:
- Read-aloud
- Story discussion to help students make connections and understand the text
- Snack
- Take home activity
