Successful Fun Run

Students listened to music while they ran, walked and danced with teachers and parents cheering them on. It was a great day to be a Mitchell Mustang! This year we were lucky enough to receive a grant through the United Dairy Industry of Michigan. This allowed us the opportunity to provide chocolate and strawberry milk, yogurt and string cheese to all the runners in order to recover from their hard work. The after run snacks were a hit with the kids and the adults. Mitchell students ran a total of 5,841 laps. Which comes out to just about 468 miles combined. That's an amazing number!
